Default is the rpm too high?

im doin 80mph in 5th gear,at 90mph im at 5k and at 110mph im at 6k,is that normal?
motor is a b16a3

Which tranny are you running? I have a gsr tranny and I hit about 4k rpm going almost 80pmh.

i think its a y21 tranny

Ya i'm right around the same exact area with a b16b tranny and my buddies a3 is very close to that +/- a few hundred so your fine, of course I can rev to 9k though :D no worries man

yea, those b16 trannys have high gear ratios...depending on what kind of setup you have and what your goals are, you could just swap out 5th for an ls 5th
