Icon3 91 prelude, need help ASAP!!!!

Got a 91 and i got a weirddddd problem with it. Heres the story. Bought the body and put a motor in it with 130k. Whenever i start the car it idles high then comes down to about 900. Thats not the problem however. Whenever im driving the car, lets say going from 1st to 2nd gear, And i completely let off the gas the rpm holds high, somewhat like the tranny is slipping. And whenever i go from any gear while driving to neutral. The car revs to 3k rpm on its own with no gas no clutch what so ever for about 7 seconds before it dies back down. CEL is on but i can't find anyone with a obd1.. ANy help would be HIGHLY APPRECIATED!
THNX!

spray some wd-40 on the throttle just to make sure, I had this same problem myself. To just the two pin connection there is a wire under your dash on the drivers side towards the console. Do a search on how to read the CEL lights, its pretty easy... good luck, also motor info would be helpful

Take the throttle body off and clean it out with some carb cleaner. It sounds like your flapper could be sticking.

I sprayed wd-40 on the spring that is on the throttle body that moves when you push the gas.... spray some wd-40 on the spring then with your hard exercise the throttle cable (with the car off of course) if the idle isn't coming down then sometimes its the cable, I am assuming your car is fuel injected (I don't know much about 3rd gens) the throttle body cleaning is a good idea too. Where do you live? Maybe somebody nearby can take a look who is on honda-tech...??? Good luck!

i actually got the problem solved
my neighbor was a honda tech soo he said it was my (TPS) throttle position sensor.
i took it off my old motor, including the throttle body, and that darn thing actually worked
but my idle is a lil off, soo that needs to be adjusted
