I've seen a lot of people with tucked engine bays mounting/hiding there battery in the fender well close to the front bumper.
Anyone ever done this on a DA?
I absolutely cannot stand having my huge *** battery in the engine bay. Coupled with my ABS there's no good damn room in there.

If you mount in fender/bumper area, you'll have to use a slim battery. Some people use ATV batteries, but I'm pretty sure they're not running big stereo systems or anything.
Of course, when you mount it in the bumper area there is a risk of explosion if you get hit in that area. So for safety reason as well as weight displacement - I would mount it in the trunk.
