Icon3 *IAVC issue after cleaning help!

98-ls stock 5 speed

To began I had a some-what-normal idle 600-500(with minor bogging)

But I wanted to eliminate that small bog, so I decided to do clean the IAVC with brake cleaner like the DIY.

Took everything off clean and sprayed it down lots of dirt came out of the IAVC.Air dried it 1 hour
Than I put it back on with no problems bolted it down. meanwhile I had the fuse 15 and 7.5 to reset the ecu(no fuse is blown). Started my car for 10 minutes idiling fine!

Than I press the throttle in nutral and it boggs down on me as if it was dying!!!! than I unbolt it and re clean it! Soon after I repeat the above turn the car on and move the steering wheel and That causes it to bog down too WTF?!!!? how does that make my car bog! Whats going on =[

no, you either have a vacuum leak where you bolted it back on or you just need to reset the ecu. if this is all you did and you don't have any cel lights, let your valve dry out and try it again.

Make sure your arnt missing any gaskets, check all the contections and make sure all the bolts are tight. Usualy after the cleaning the car will run like ****. Take it out and drive it for a few min, it should go away.

On the older integras it adjusted the idle speed. You shouldnt have one.

the screw is also used on obd2. you unhook the idle control valve when the car is warm and turn the screw till the car is right about 500rpm. plug back in and you're good to go. and or you can do trial and error 1/4 turn at a time.
