This answer is incorrect to an extent. Just because the air flow inwards through the throttle body is increase it is not correct to assume that the airflow through the intake manifold runners and intake port will also experience larger amount of intake airflow. There is more than just upgrading a tb to increase airflow. If anything concentrate on the air velocity. A itr tb will only help with throttle response when paired with a stock intake manifold. Think about it in this sense, if you have a large door leading to a small hallway does that mean you can fit more through the door with no regards to the hallway itself?
yea sorry i guess i didn't word it right it will work but will require modification. also he probably has another throttle body but if he didn't it would require him buying 2 throttle bodies to make one work. but thanks for correcting my poor phrasing.

we put together his ls/vtec and he only had a ls tb and we bolted it up and it works fine
dammit i can't think right tonight. you're right, all he needs is the bracket. i need to go to sleep or something because i don't know what the hell i'm thinking of as far as t/b is concerned. thumbsdown to me for poor information.
they are both 60mm stock i thought.... guys correct me if im wrong ... but i thought all d series were 56mm,,, b,f and h series were 60mm,, and the s2k's were like 70mm stock.. in fact i was told a quick and cheap upgrade for a d series is to swap out any b or h series tb because theyre 4mm larger... and bolt right up.....
