hey guys im experiencing a problem while driving my 00 civic si with gsr built motor/turbo. at some points during the drive. if im hard on the car. when i slow down and start to go back thru the gears, and i hit the gas pedal, it wont move!! rpm will not rise. it gets to the point where i just stop right there. then dies. then wont turn on. then you give it a couple minutes after messing around with wires and stuff in the engine. the car turns on again and drives normal. this is sooo confusing. ive replaced spark plugs, spark plug wires. fuel filter.any help would be greatly appreciatied.

 

what is your setup? is it tuned? any cel's? what wires and stuff do you mess with?

 

With out knowing a whole lot more it sounds like a crank or cam sensor problem. If you have a spare distributer around swap it in and see if the same thing happens.

 

no cel's on. car drives fine when cold. but when warmed up and when you boost. the problem appears. i have a gsr block built w/golden eagle sleeve. b16 head, gsr cams. t3/t67 turbo. 10lbs boost. i just replaced the plugs with ngk laser plats. also threw in msd wires.and fuel filter.
