Default need jdm front help??

okay im doing a jdm front end conversion on my 95 gsr and i have abs i bought the oem hid headlights and i searched into if its possible with abs can anybody help me?

i believe the 95 has fitting problems. because it doesnt have the 96+ spec "slimmer" abs unit.

Its 98 spec slimimer unit. And no you wont be able to make it fit. Sell those, get the regular lights and get a 55w HID kit. The stock projectors work very will and you will have a nice cut-off.

you can can move the abs a little but you are at your own risk.

i've seen people done it before though

Yeah its possible.

You have to mount the ballast for your HID's in a different spot then right behind the bulb though.

yes, you can do what i did and take out the ballast and mounted somewhere else instead of being attatch to the headlight.

And no, the result of the non hid version with a PNP kit will be better than halogen but will not even come close to the oem hid version.

i might do that but i do wanna keeep it looking clean and behind it do you have pics of how yours looks?

I have a 94 gsr and I have aftermarket hids. It looks just as good..

i just like the oem hid and the projecters thats why i paid extra for the oem hid housing headlight

Maybe if you get the 98+ abs and remove your 95 abs.

I have a 96 GS-R and I have recently bought the JDM Front End with the HID headlights. So I had read, my abs r fine...so I'm good. But I was wondering if anyone know any shops that can in So Cal for installing the front end and HID to my car...

i hate to ressurrect such an old thread but how did it work. im doin this to my car now and i need to know if theres any other ways. if i used the housing, would an after market bulb and ballast fit?

i have a 94 and had to delete my abs. but then i upgraded to ITR brakes
