250 full tank?

Default 250 full tank?

i just filled my tank for the first time i've own my stock 95 ej1. well i was expecting over 300 miles to a full tank i was almost out yeserday and i only got like 250 and i was wondering if that was normal i'm use to my ef hatch where i can get 400 normal driving.
now i knowing driving as a lot to do with it but i was driving normal didn't hit vtec onces
any help

how bout a full tune up? any exhaust leaks? cel's?

i have a cel but don't remember what it was but i guess the past owner said it won't go away. the guy i talk to said he help rebuild it(total) rebuilt it stock i guess they had like three total civic in the yard.

it's an auto and i have a shift kit in it i guess she likes to shift around 4000 rpms would that matter if i'm not driving hard?

no i don't step on it it's really my wifes car she'd kill me if i hurt her baby lol.
but she reminded me that one of the cels(i think there's more then 1) is the o2 sensor the wires are backwards or something i'm going to check that out soon. i just started to fix the some things in it.

I get about 250 on a full tank in my d15b swapped vx, but i have a 10 gal gas tank and a hit vtec all the time.

u have a ex auto tranny? i'm not sure what size tank i have but i have a ex chassis

geez fellas.

the ck engine light is o2 sensor which can drop your mileage significantly. the 2nd possibly could have been a catalysis deficiency.

also change your fuel filter. Im sure once you get those few things done (minus the cat if it's not a problem) your mileage will go up.
