I hear about people putting B16 TB's on there D-series Manifolds, my ? is why "what does this do"

 

B-series throttle bodies are larger in diameter than D-series throttle bodies. Most people do this as a cheaper alternative to using a larger aftermarket throttle body. However, unless you really need it and port match the intake manifold to the throttle body, it will do you no good.
