OMNI AND BLOX???
I was wondering if OMNI and BLOX parts any good? To me they seem and look like the same while their products remind me of skunk2 knockoffs... I was looking into a full coilover setup, and i'm on kind of a tight budget so I wasnt sure if the quality of their coilovers would be worth the money spent. They are pretty decent in their price range, and have heard mixed, love/hate reviews from people and around honda-tech. Are they worth consideration along with say Buddy Club N+ Specs, Skunk 2, or Function+Form Coilovers? Feedback is greatly appreciated.
sometimes products work regardless of brand name. considering blox and omni, im pretty sure they are pretty good since you hear and see their products everywhere. i currently have blox lca's, blox shortshifter and shift **** and they work pretty good. they probably aren't "top of the line" stuff, but what really is without the proper research and development right? buy what's within your budget range and appeals to you.
they look like they're good products, a lot of reputable shops around the area carry them, so they shouldnt be junk. I would pick up up omni coilovers if they offered a dampening adjustment.
well as far as OMNI coilovers, no complaints, i've had Omni sports on my EJ1 for about 2 years and never had one problem out of them, and and i also run OMNI valvetrain, which some people said is junk but my GSR is still running strong 9-K-ALLDAY.
yeah there are those slim chances of getting a complete piece of junk... i just hope that omni or blox offers good customer support.. ive read in a few threads that they do not offer such service when someone on here had his shock snap and ended up having his car on the ground...

Had Blox Comp series full coilovers and LCA's along with blox short shifter and shift *** and it all feels like primo stuff. The construction on all items is high quality and well made. Blox stuff is the cheaper brand now but as soon as word gets around on their quality stuff their prices will go up. Btw from what i heard from a reputable source, Omni was bought out by Blox. Had my comp series next to a set of Omnis and they are identical except for the cool red finish on the blox shocks.
no complaints here on omni / blox stuff
i'm currently using omni front cambers, blox rear cambers, skunk 2 lcas, koni yellows, gc coils, gc top hats, st bars, asr brace, es bushings
its just as good as any of the other stuff i have
one thing i may ask is what do you plan on doing with your coilovers?
a low drop?
auto x?
dump?
if your trying to dump your DD, i would just save the money and get a much higher end product something that can function well while the shocks are being compressed.
for a mild drop i'd say get em, other then that you might want to do a bit more research on the product.

I have a 96 ek with a k24 swap and omni street coilovers and they have worked perfect for the last 3 years no complaints. Also have upper control arms from them also. Car really handles great minus no lsd. I would def recommend the coilovers. I am actually getting a omni coilover with damp adj this week don't know anyone with them yet but i will let you know how they are. Also Blox is the same as omni, the rummer is that blox purchased omni but not 100% sure if thats true. If you have any other questions let me know, good luck with the car.
did you use your old omni's daily?
I'm thinking about getting some omni coilovers but I want to know if they will last.
I also don't know whether to get sport or street setup. I do daily-driving with weekend track use.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
