Look through your phone book and go to places in your area. This is not gonna work like this. A body shop is a bussiness and people want to see some effort. Just go right into a shop and tell them that you are willing to work hard for them and that you really want to learn the field.

^^ agreed. its deffently gonna be hard to just go into a shop and tell them you have no experience and want to learn how to do it. i went to a tech school for auto body, and its hard as **** to find a place to just let me start. much less go in with no experince at all.

go to school to learn, theres an adult study/community school in san jose that offers an autobody class. You can earn a certificate too. i forget the exact name of it but the accronym is CCOC. I cant think of any other schools around the bay area that teaches autobody except wyotech, but ive also heard its not really a good program. oh and UTI in sac offers an autobody program too but goin to uti or wyotech is going to cost a grip.here is a link for thier course catalog...or what not. They have day or night classes. Here is the link for they classes they offer in they day http://www.quikreg.com/classreg/cata...A00TQY5IVY6and this is for the evening classes.http://www.quikreg.com/classreg/cata...53FIVY60P79E00
