Default Transmission fluid, how much

I'm getting ready to replace my syncrows and I'm thinking of trying the royal purple tranny fluid. My question is how many quarts will I need for the whole tranny? Thanks, happy thanks giving.

Well on my EP3 it took like 2 quarts and then a tiny bit of a third I believe. Fill it up till the fluid starts coming out of the hole. Should be just over 2 quarts I think.

At 6 bucks a quart I was a little angry at the time... I was like, for that extra 3 ounces I would have rather poured in a little bit of the old fluid to top it off. Haha. Kind of depressing when you open the third bottle expecting to use most of it and it barely takes any. Haha. And to think, the dealer wanted like 60 bucks to change it. I changed this crap faster than my oil!

Oh! And make sure you loosen the filler plug before the drain plug.

Kind of common sense but I've heard stories...
