door handle problem

door handle problem

Its seems every civic ive owned 92-95 has had to have the drivers door handle pulled to lock the door but just the driver side is this a problem or some kind of feature is there some way to to fix this problem

idk the only thing is i have an EX now and it has power locks and when i hit the switch it only locks the passenger side the others were lower trim so im just wondering if anyone knows why they do this

isn't that a safety feature so you dont lock your keys in the car

when you press the lock button from inside the car roll down your window first and pull the outside handle and keep it up at the same time push the lock and it will lock both.

its just a safety mechanism honda offered to keep ppl from locking their keys in their car thats all. when the door is closed, you are free to lock or unlock without holding the handle.
