How can i tell if i have bent valves?
ok this is my 1st thread or post what ever you want to call it.. any i just bought a 1990 Acura Integra its my first call an i have in it 4 a while.. an out of no were it started making this knocking sound. coming out head of my engine. My friend said that all i need is a valve alignment. and another 1 of my friend says i have bent valves. i dont know who to believe so if any 1 could help me .. i would be very happy thank you..
bent valves=
missing, cel code, studder at idle,
Knocking noise=
Rod bearing gone due to lack of oil,
i can't think of anything else.
Do a compression test that will tell you if it is your valves or not!
