Icon2 wont turn over, no power?

I just swapped a b20 into a eg hatch and I got the battery tested and charged at autozone and tried my friends battery and I get the same thing. I go to try to start it and the car won't turn over. I try it a few times then the power just shuts off, no headlights, interior light, or dash lights. Then I hooked a battery up a few days later n it did it again. Any ideas?

Check all your grounds (Battery, Tranny, Valve cover, etc) and your starter wires.

You might have some sort of short in your harness, also.

The interior wiring harness is kind of sketchey? And I swapped dashes in it do you think somethin could be messed up inside?

Definitely possible. You may have pinched a wire while putting in the dash. What ever the problem is, I'm pretty sure its electrical. Just make sure there are no bare wires.

No dash, no starter hooked up and the headlights worked, then I put the dash in and didn't hook anything up and then I get no headlights. It just keeps working when I hook it up for a moment then all power just cuts out.

I had a problem like that when I swapped my b18. Check your harness, Engine Harness. Make sure there are no cuts, no butts, a cut somewhere along the wire could make it useless. And another thought could be your ecu. Good luck.
