I own a 7th gen 2003 accord coupe ex v6 and I personally do not like the new 8th gen styling of the new accord coupe and was wondering what everyone else thought. ALOT of people love the new accord coupes, even people that have NEVER liked hondas in the first place and personally do not like them. So the question is 7th gen or 8th gen which is better (COSMETIC and STYLING wise?) Im not comparing performance, because it is obvious which is better. So let me know what you guys think.

 

well my gf has a 04 coupe and i love it. it looks really good, handles like a honda but you can feel the weight. i personally think that the new ones are very mean/sexy looking. when i see one with the hfp kit and factory wheels i go nuts. everyone has there own tastes. i myself have a 90 accord coupe and every gen that honda has come out with ive loved. these past 2 are no exceptions.

 

Personally I think they both have a lot to offer and they are more related than one might think even though the chassis are different. It's a personal choice

i have friends that HATE hondas with a passion, but think my car is sharp.(i have g8 coupe)

 

personally, even i've never seen any coupe in live other than 2001. V6 , but to be honest g7's front lights remind me of Ford Mondeo

 

hahah omg your right...Yaa the 8th Gen I feel like they were going after the whole g35 market because they do look similar. And yes I do love all the hondas regardless, but Idk im just not loving the new styling. Granted itll probably grow on me, but just wanted to hear what other people thought.

 

As far as looks go, I generally prefer the 7 Gen Coupe to the 8 Gen Coupe.

I feel better about the 8 Gen sedan, and I think they're going to sell a hell of a lot of them for many reasons.

I would consider a G8 if I was seeking a new vehicle.

 

All I know is, I like the styling of the g7 coupe much better than the g8. The g8 looks too much like the new Lexus to me IMHO, mainly from the rear end. I don't know about the interior in the g8, but my EX-L interior with the CF trim gets me a lot of compliments from all kinds of people, some who don't really care for Hondas at all.
