i have an h1 hid kit and the bulbs are h1 but they wont work with the metal lock thing because it dosnt have the 2 tabs or whatever it is used to lock it with i was wondering how do you guys set your bulbs in there?

 

i just used the rubber gasket to hold it in there. i heard of people making clips themself by cutting that plastic ring that usually comes with the hid kits..

 

yeah as of right now i cant use that rubber gasket thing becuase of how the hid kit was made with the wires where it splits to the bulb then the 2 negative n positive cant fit those inside the rubber middle hole so i just duct tape it but i was wondering the plastic ring that comes inside the that hid bulb cover is that what they use as a clip?

 

re bend the metal latch. works every time
