whats a good brand for a power steering rack?
You can typically find re-manufactured ones via the internet. I used Rack Doctor, the guy's kind of difficult sometimes but eh.
Also, just a tip when doing the rack replacement, turn the steering wheel completely to the left in order to slide the rack out of place. Also, lock the wheel to avoid snapping SRS clockspring, and replace your outer tie rod ends (like $20 each) while in there. Then, get it "decent" as far as tire alignment, and drive 20 mph to the alignment shop a mile away, squealing tires the whole way.
Also, is your steering setup "modified" in any way? Just curious.
