Default Foglight switch question (w/pics)

Hey, my brother got me a set of foglights (from ebay) and I finally got around to putting them on a few weeks ago. They're oem replicas, and I tried them out after I was done and they worked fine. Turned them off and attempted to turn them on again, but the switch wouldn't stay in the on position. If I held it down, the lights would stay on but would come off as soon as I took my finger off. I called the company that sold them on ebay and they sent me a replacement switch. Installed it and it worked fine. I tried it out a few times and it worked. The following day, the same exact thing happened again. Pressing down on the switch, it's supposed to click, but both switches don't click anymore, and don't remain in the on position.
My question is, does the switch match up with an oem or depo switch and do you think the connector would be able to just plug right in?

Thanks for looking.

I know ebay stuff is usually crap. My brother got me the lights as a bday gift. So what you're saying is that a depo or oem switch would plug in just fine?

kind of on a related note....will the JDM/OEM switch work with a password wiring harness plug? I traded my password plug for a JDM/oem switch and I didnt stop to consider that it may not plug into my password harness

I originally bought this exact kit.

My switch (which looked identical to that one) did the same thing as yours. Could not keep the switch on. Within two weeks, both of the foglights developed serious cracks.

I ended up buying another kit altogether.

The kit has been on for a little more than a month and no cracks yet.

Does PasswordJDM sell the switches seperately on their website, I looked around and didn't see anything other than the full kit.

I'm still looking for an answer as to whether or not this switch is the same as a Depo or OEM switch.

Thanks for all the comments and advice.

I have an oem grey color 99 civic fog light switch i bought from ebay, but I think it came in an oem honda bag..

I dont remember how many pins it had, but it had two rows and yours looks like a single row

Thanks. I'm debating on whether or not I should paint the lip, grille and sideskirts and get a set of gold GT3's or just paint the grille, keep the lip and sideskirts black and get either a set of black auto x's w/ red lip or gunmetal j-spl's w/ chrome lip. Any comments?

This is what the kind of reply I'm looking for. Ok, so an oem switch would have 2 rows of pins. I'll look further into this to confirm. As for the depo switch, does anyone know if it's the same as mine or if the connectors match up?

Thanks again for the comments.
