I am parting out the drag car. The car went 11.1 @123 with this 5 gear setup. I have only taken this tranmission to the track 3 times. I just sold the engine so the trans doesn't do me any good.

This transmission was good for 4 tenths over a b16 trans. The engine peak power was at 9300 and I used 24.5" tires. The transmission started out life as a b16. I have installed the cast iron 1-2 shift fork and relieved the 5-R detent to help the 5th power shift. I could shift the trans full throttle in every gear, NO GRINDS. Install a LSD and this gearing would be a great road race transmission. Hopefully someone can benefit in this great piece.

If the spool was swaped out for a LSD could you street it?

 

yes its just like any other transmission. The gearing would be a little short though. this trannys 5th is like a normal b16's 4th, and it has the 4.92 final.
