97' EK strut bar?

Default 97' EK strut bar?

I just bought a 97' EK and have already gotten skunk2 coilovers the jdm lip and Si grill. before i do the motor i was going to get front and rear strut bars. I need help, i am torn between CTR and Spoon, i dont want opinions i want to hear about experience, stiffness, etc. thanks for the help

you need to get some kind of aftermarket intake because either of those strut bars will fit with the stock intake.

The CTR strut bar is really heavy compared to the Spoon. You will also have to drill holes to mount it.

I had the CTR one and replaced it with a Spoon one.

neuspeed makes a really good front strut tower bar and no drilling is needed, mounts on the 2 shock tower bolts. as for the rear, i have a cusco strut bar, beefy

One thing on the neuspeed bar (which I currently have installed). The person who sold it too me got rid of it because of putting in a DOHC engine. With the motor swap, the neuspeed bar would no longer fit. At least that is whast I was told. Other than that, I do like the neuspeed one, I can't help you with the other two, just thought you should know.

Thanks for the help everybody, i think i am going to go ahead and order the Spoon front and rear strut bars, the rear lower too if i'm feeling in the mood.

I have a 98 civic htbk... use to have the d16y7 with the neuspeed strut bar on it.. swapped to a b18b and still was able to use the strut bar.. never had any issues with it at all

of the two get the spoon. and cre18 is right cusco make really nice stuff
