95 GSR Won't Start, Help!
I was driving the other day and my car was hesitating a bit. I thought it was just because my car wasn't warmed up.. but about 10 seconds later, it stopped responding to me pushing the gas pedal and it finally died on me. It turns over, but doesn't start. I searched the forums and it seems as if most ppl have similar problems, which are related to their dizzy, coil or ICM, however I just replaced the dizzy 2 years ago. I doubt that is the problem.
When I turn the ignition, I hear what I think is the fuel pump.. then i turn the ignition and it turns over, but never starts up. I changed my plugs with brand new ones and still nothing. I checked and my timing belt is still there. I opened the distributor cap and it's clean in there and i attempted to start it and the rotor turned. Is there anything else I can try? I would do a spark plug test, however i've never done one and i heard it can mess things up if u do that.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Pull a spark plug wire off and stick a screwdriver in the boot where it plugs onto the spark plug and set it next to a nut on your valve cover. Put the screwdriver within about an 1/8th of an inch of the nut. Have someone turn the car over while you look at the screwdriver and nut. You should see a spark jump from the screwdriver to the nut if you did it correctly and the car is getting spark. If it's no then your dizzy is the problem. Or you could just get an old spark plug and pull a wire out put it on there and have someone crank it over and see if it's getting spark. Either way tells you the same thing.
Another thing to do just to trouble shoot it quickly for fuel is loosen the fuel line going to the top of the fuel filter. Have someone turn the key on and off real quick. It'll squirt fuel out of where you loosened it and you know you're getting fuel. Don't leave the key turned on for too long or it will keep dumping fuel out. Also watch your eyes if your standing close to it.
