CRX IDLE WIERD?
hi im new to the forums and i just started working on a crx of my own..we have done a few things to the car..its a 89.. recently it started to idle strangely(would drop low then pick back up continuely) would anyone know wat the problem might be?
IACV and FITV Give this a try, https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/cleaning-iacv-fitv-tb-1844067/
well assuming your engine is the stock one, you don't have a fitv, but you do have an iacv. so try cleaning that out, and/or possibly replacing the seal between it and the intake manifold. its only like $4 from honda.

im having the same problem, those link are applicable to mpfi right? where can i locate this on a dpfi. sorry if i thread jack, but i did countless search and what better way is to have both in one.
One possibility is that your cooling system is simply low or needs a good air bleed. This will foul up various engine control sensors and the IACV. Follow the shop manual's directions to the letter for an air purge. Note that where it says to wait until the rad fan comes on twice, it may take 40 minutes or more. So have a magazine. Top off the cooling system per the manual.
