ok so im gussing if you bought n2o cams you would make more power while spraying, but what about the rest of the time. i dont want my car to be running like a dead dog when im not on the bottle. any one have experince with these. i saw that zex made one, any other brands make a n2o cam?

other secrnieo, i go w/my origanal plan of skunk2 stage 2 cams, which will be great around town, but how will it react to the n20, i know n/a cams SUCK w/turbo, but n2o is different, how will it react w/these cams?

i guess im just wondering if the n/a cams will detonate while spraying, and the hp difference would be. if say they wont detonate but you make like 3-5 hp less on the n/a cams while spaying, but make 3-5 or even more while not spraying i'd rather go them cause i can always up the shot.

the engine will be fully built, sleeved & deck plate, bored, stroked, p&p, valve job, the works im just tring to figure out the right combonation. dont want to waste all this money on something thats going to run like ****.

I would tell them that you are calling all the major cam companies trying to get information on this subject for me, and I might do a small write up on here and a very, VERY tiny upstart website that's listed in my sig.

 

yeah i actually just posted last week about skunk2 stage 2 cams with a light nitrous shot..... most people agreed that it should be fine provided that you give enough fuel and retard enough timing while you're squeezing...

 

The general concensus is that NA cams will work fine with nitrous, but will require a bit more exhaust timing to get all of the extra crap out of the cylinders. Just hop on a dyno and start tuning.
