Default ceramic brake pads, is it worth it?

is it worth to get ceramic brake pads over standard pads etc?

what i do

-daily drive
-smash around, once in a while
-touge passes once a month if any


my pads are wearing out hella bad now and i need new pads asap

is it worth the money for those

Without mention of brand or specific pads, no one can answer this.

I would take good "standard" pads over no name brand ceramics any day. I would also continue to spend the extra on the Hawk Ceramics pads I currently run, due to their low dust production.

I have Akebono Ceramic pads on my 97 civic. They stop and bite ok, but definitely not as good as metalmasters of other good semi-metallic pads. I love the lack of dust though.

seems like OEM brand is better than most aftermarket brands.
