yea i would try to pry on the wheel from the wheel while someone tries to unbolt it at the same time

if that doesnt work then you are going to try to cut the stud off with either a torch or a sawzall

good luck

dont use either of those. Especially the torch. If you have to cut, a wafer wheel on a die grinder. Try having someone really **** the wheel sideways to bind the stud while you smack it with an impact. This has worked for me before on a snowmobile trailer with 2 like this.

this process can suck i've come across it all the time at work. if nothing else take the other three lugnutz off and pull out on the opposite side of the wheel for "binding" and have someone hit it w/an impact gun. you might want to have a vicegrip on the back side of the stud.

autozone sells special impact sockets for stripped lugs. my my friend had the same problem a while back and ended up buying one.

Yeah.. for stripped lugs. Not stripped with nut on it still. Just go buy a new stud no so you can install it when you get it off. Have you tried impact gun with leverage from backside?

yeah i have on stripped on the back and one on the front wheel... i think for the one in the back i turned it so hard the stud is rotating around in the rotor.....it looks tricky to get to. so far no luck with leverage and i dont own anything that could cut at that angle. i may have to go buy something.
