I bought a 98 si with a jdm b18b in it. Had some shaking in the steering wheel and they said i need a new axel. Someone told me that i need to get an axle amde since its an interga moter going to a honda front end? someone must be able to tell me what i need

 

a 94 up teg axle will work, even if it has the abs ring. assuming you dont have a jdm ITR 5 lug.

just out of curiosity, does the shimmy go away when you let off of the gas pedal?

your car has an ITR 5 lug?
what size is the spindle nut? if that is the case, you need an integra shaft and inner with an accord outter. 32mm or36mm?

 

It means that it's drivetrain related which is probably a bad axle.

 

just got home from school i see this now. the vibration goes away when you get off of the gas, then you do in fact have an inner joint goin bad.

and if it is stock suspended, any integra axle from 94-00 will work.

check your axles. and yes, you need the integra axles, not the civic ones.
