Hey what's up guys well like the title says with the key out car off the brake lights are still illuminated!!! I checked the brake switch and sprayed a little WD40 (to un-stick it, even though it wasn't really stuck I think) and nothing. I just pulled the fuse so my battery won't die. Any ideas guys?

i would just totally replace the brake light switch all together. It doesnt cost much anyways.

try adjusting the switch, it may not be contacting the brake pedal arm. if not replace the switch

 

as said just try replacing the switch/adjusting it, if this doesnt work trace the switch wire and see if its shorted to ground. The tails have a constant 12v to them all the time but the brake switch completes the ground for them to work

 

did you install the new switch correctly a month ago. did you make it snug enough?
