Just wanted to say thanks to a great place...
Asking questions, searching, and a couple weekends have yielded me wonderful results. I just wanted to say thanks to all those who had some input in my questions. All I've ever done in the past is change my brakes and spark plugs. Hell, I still even haven't done my oil change.
In the last couple weekends, I've done the following with the great source of information here. I plan to offer any help from my experience to give back to the community.
Timing Belt, Balance belt, water pump job.
Replaced all my accessory belts.
Replaced spark plugs, PCV, and all seals.
Replaced my axle.
Replace tie rod with tie rod boot.
Replaced my rotors and brakes.
Flushed out my radiator.
Drained and refilled my transmission.
Did my own valve adjustment (never thought I could do that)
Followed one of the detail guides here and polished the crap out of my car with the following: Wash with dawn, back to black all my rubber, clayed the car, buffed with a polish, then put a coat of high glaze wax.
Have to get pictures tommorrow but everything came out nice and the car feels like it is off the lot!
Thanks again guys. I couldn't of done without yall. I estimated about 1700 dollars in labor saved from the dealership by doing this myself.
