Default Gauge cluster needle removal

Long story short, friend had indiglos installed. Did a bad job and needles got messed up. Returned to stock but needles now show incorrect speed.

I managed to pull out the cluster no problem but how do I go about recalibrating it? It doesn't have to be precise or anything. The rpm meter is still correct more or less so I decided if I get to 3k rpm on 5th gear it would equal 60 mph. But I can't take off the needles. Does anyone know how I can take off the needles?

the needls should just come off(pull evenly on the top) When i did my gauges i had to mess around with the needles for everything to fit but when i got done i just put it all together and it bacially reset it self(gas, tem, speed, tach)
