Are you removing them to replace them, or get rid of them? If getting rid of them, take a razor blade, wedge it in the side of the emblem, and lift away from the vehicle. Be careful not to touch the paint with the blade.

There will probably be a little bit of adhesive residue. The best way to get rid of it is to rub as much of it off that you can with your finger and fingernail, and then cleaning it with a soft cotton cloth. It may take a little while, but it's worth it.

There's nothing worse than seeing a car rolling around with the residue still on it.

do NOT use a razor blade. use dental floss or fishing line to seperate the badges from the car, and goo-gone to remove the adhesive. the newer the car the easier this is.

a razorblade is the stupidest idea ever.

Well I used a razor blade and it came out just fine. It's not like you are touching the vehicle with the blade.

To each his own.

The point is to attach the blade to the emblem, and lift the emblem away from the vehicle, not under it. I don't let anything touch the paint on my vehicle.

Bottomline...do not use a razorblade. Fishing line or dental floss is the safest way, and it is very easy. My Civic emblem was off (using fishing line) and the spot cleaned/waxed in under 2 minutes.

remember also before using the dental floss or fishing line to use a hair dryer and warm the badge a bit, it'll help greatly.

Use your fingers. Just rip the badge off with your fingers. To remover the adhesive, roll it off with your fingers. Then wax. It took all of four and a half minutes to do.

you can also use a heat gun to get the adhesive warm and most of it will peal off. Or you can use a blow dryer. then goo gone, but it is kinda weak. i think you can use laqour, but not sure on that, but just take your time. i did it with a heat gun. worked good

I'm assuming the H emblem has the usual two holes? I've already removed our Civic emblem with the old fashion blow dryer/fish line but didn't mess with the H for fear of leaving holes
