Icon6 wierd sweeky when extreme cold weather from the engine(from the timing belt area)

Hey guys, hope you guys are ready for the cold season. I live in chicago and the weather finally started hitting the freezing temp. i started my car when it started getting cold and about one minute into the idling/warming up process. i hear a sweeky sound.. it was pretty loud u can hear it from outside and inside the car. I popped the hood to check, and it was coming from the timing belt area. So i waited til the car warmed up, then started driving, it still made the sound!, but then after driving it for a good 30 minutes, it stops. I dirve a 2000 civic Si.?? i have no clue> or is it from the cylinders? thanx? I hope i dont need to change my belt anytime soon. It has 99 on it, i bought it at 80k, the dude told me he changed it, but i was going to wait till spring to change it, kindda broke at the moment. thanx alot guys

Are you sure it isn't the alternator belt?

If it's anything like what I experienced... it turned out to be my alternator belt. It was adjusted so there is no more squealing.

Most likely one of the accessory belts. Adjust, replace or spray belt dressing on it/them.
