wierd sweeky when extreme cold weather from the engine(from the timing belt area)
Hey guys, hope you guys are ready for the cold season. I live in chicago and the weather finally started hitting the freezing temp. i started my car when it started getting cold and about one minute into the idling/warming up process. i hear a sweeky sound.. it was pretty loud u can hear it from outside and inside the car. I popped the hood to check, and it was coming from the timing belt area. So i waited til the car warmed up, then started driving, it still made the sound!, but then after driving it for a good 30 minutes, it stops. I dirve a 2000 civic Si.?? i have no clue> or is it from the cylinders? thanx? I hope i dont need to change my belt anytime soon. It has 99 on it, i bought it at 80k, the dude told me he changed it, but i was going to wait till spring to change it, kindda broke at the moment. thanx alot guys
