Default 06 FG2 Si dead battery @ 37000 miles??

the battery of My 06 FG2 Si was dead this morning, called the honda/acura dealer that I bought it from and declined my request for a new battery replacement since i bought it certified used last month. I called another honda dealer here in Norcal and told me to bring it over and replaced it with a new one no questions ask since it is under 3 year warranty. I told the F*^k face where I bought my car that i will not go back there again and will let my military bros to watch out for thier crappy customer service...bunch a crooks!! Now i got another 3 yr warranty on my new battery.

I had my stock battery die at 13,000 miles. As soon as it got cold, that was it, deader than a door nail. Would not hold a charge either. The guy at Honda say's to me "Oh, well sometimes they just die, not sure why. Btw, this is not covered under your warranty since it is a wear part. "

I replaced it with a top of the line Die Hard and have not had a problem since.

The stock batteries are junk.

that's wierd; even the cheapest batteries at autozone have a few years of warranty on them. you'd think honda would at least match the auto parts stores.

i had a the batt go on my 07 with maybe 15000. it was springtime, my wife pulled up to get gas and when she went to leave, the thing was beat. wouldn't start.

we eventually got it started and she drove it straight to Rossi Honda in Vineland, NJ. they replaced the battery without question and it has been fine ever since.

nothing is fail proof....nothing.
