A little OT Lotus blast...
Yea I know this is off topic, but for those who know me and my project car.. 65 Lotus Elan..I finally got it out of the garage and went for a blast down the road. ALL my neighbors came out and gawked cause I'm running headers and straight pipe, so it sounds like a track car.
Exciting for me cause this is the first time the car has driven in over 20 years.. And the first time I have been able to really see how good or bad a motor I put together..
My guess is that this will keep up with the R NO PROBLEM.. Not bad for a 37 year old British sports car

WOW!! Congrats man, thats awesome! Have you ironed out your insursance issues so you can drive it for a bit befor it goes on the block?? You should slap some Type R stickers on that biatch and bring her to the meet!

uhhh pics.. doh! My wife wanted to grab the vid camera but by the time she found it I had quite a crowd on the street and it was time to put it away.. Or more exactly on the trailer for it's short trip to its new temp home..

These are Webers.. DHLA 40DCOE's to be exact, but choked out to 36's..
( Sorry, I'm still living in the past, all I really understand is carbs )
My Del 'orto's are reserved for the BDA ( only cause they are brand new )
