fully built d16 turbo, running with hondata s300.

the car fires RIGHT up, just like normal, but if then dies after 2-3 seconds, if i hit the throttle it dies instantly.

drove the car home last night and it was running perfectly, nothing wrong whatsoever. woke up and it was doing this.

i know its a fuel issue but what? new fuel pump, rc550's, new fuel filter, aem fpr... which one is screwing me in the butt?

 

not really sure cause mines like that too but i think its idle air control value. that black thing on the mani. or oil pressure. i did engine check and its was those. search p1259 it might help. your v-tec kicks?

 

check your fuel pump. this happened to me about 3 days after installing my walbro.

The small 2" rubber hose blew a hole in the side like a bombed beached whale. I replaced it with the OEM one. Goodluck.

 

yes this might be true i did change my fuel pump too. but havent check if it was the problem to cold. car is going to sit the winter.
