I wanted to adjust my hieght on my GroundControls but theres that part that you need a HEX wrench to loosen the perch right? Get me so far?? Then after loosening it, you use the gold wrench to turn the PERCH up or down the coil. Know what I'm talking about? Well, I coudn't get that damn thingy loosen, it was on too tight and ended up rounding my hex wrench. I can't adjust my damn hieght now, what do I do? I'm going to buy another hex thingy tomarrow.
Make sure you're using the right size allen wrench. It's an SAE size (can't remember what right now), not metric. If that doesn't work, you could try a star driver. If you can find the right size, it will often help remove an allen-head bolt that's starting to round off.
You might as well round up a replacement bolt while you're at it. If you've damaged it and do manage to get it out, the last thing you want to do is put it back in. 'Cause you might not be so lucky next time.

once you strip a cap screw, its toast. gotta get a screw extractor. try the sears version or an easy out. always use the correct driver size.
Over the years I've learned that the very first thing you do when working on the suspension is hit the bolts/nuts/screws you want to remove with Power-lube, Liquid Wrench, WD-40, etc. and let it soak in for an hour. Overnight is better.
You stripped the key? The one they give with the coilovers is pretty damn solid and fits perfectly. Just make sure you're not turning it when it's half-way in or something...

I had the same problem...wrench didn't fit
However, the front coils were loose already and I could adjust it up and down
what car do you have? Maybe it's a different system on the integra...because my fronts are loose as all hell
I couldn't get the rears to adjust though...they were definitely locked...actually I had trouble reaching past the wheels to get to the coil.

..Try this...
I rounded off a hex wrench on a frozen GC perch and said what the hell, let me try this...
Got a 3/8" drive T20 torx socket and 12" extension on a 3/8" drive ratchet. Put the socket on the extension and tap the extension with a hammer to seat the socket into the hex bolt (just enough to bottom out the socket in the base of the bolt), turn the bolt loose..
Works on the corners, not on the flats...Now I carry the T20 setup wherever I got Just in case...
Hope it works for you...

I've rounded the little bolt too much for me to get a good amount of turn with my hex wrench. THis sucks. I don't konw what to do. I'm going to hve my friend help me think up a idea, but really, I have no idea what the **** to do.
I guess i can try that Torx thingy that you mentioned. Ahhhh.. this sucks ***.

What is a screw extractor? I've never heard of it. I might have to get one of thsoe. It doesn't look too good right now as the bolt just dosen't want to come out at all.
Try the torx bit, works in the corners, not on the flats. Unless you used and oversized hex wrench, the torx will fit right in...
You can also try a T25 if it's really rounded off, just need to tap it in a little harder...
Trust me it works...We almost gave up on a 2 hour alignment (I'm a perfectionist) on a friends car when his left front froze and couldn't get any camber adjustment, tried it on a whime (instead of giving up) and worked like a charm..Even after rounding off the bolt with the supplied "useless" hex wrench....
