Default Oil Change special

I am getting ready to do an oil change and I am not sure of what brand to use. I searched the FAQ and archives but there is not anything on user preference. So I was curious what are you guys useing for filters and oil? I plan to add this to the FAQ in the oil section.

HAMP or OEM S2K filter (other Honda filters are Honeywell/Fram ****), Shell Rotella T Synthetic 5w40 + STP or other Zinc additive (wasn't necessary before Shell removed most of the Zinc from even their best Diesel oil). With a good air filter this combo works well for longer oil change intervals for me, including track usage.

I thought RP and Amsoil are both great high performance oil ( that cost more than $6 a quart retail ) .. any reason you use Amsoil instead of RP when you track it and use RP for street ?

fell out of vtec at about 6500 rpms using royal purple at buttonwillow. The oil got too hot/thin and the engine just couldnt take it. Figured if im gonna use some thick oil, use oil that is clearly thicker and a bit better performance, and go with amsoil. Its more expensive than the RP so i use that for normal street use, since i think its fine. I met one of the top dogs for RP one time and after my discussion with him, i figured i liked the product, just not on the track.
