Default should these be here?

i just got my head back from the machine shop and noticed they installed new 1/8th plugs in a few locations, just want to make sure these plugs should be there!

and this plug needs to be removed when using this head on a b series VTEC block correct (that is only plugged for LS-VTEC applications right?)

if using that head on an ls/vtec or b20 etc you will need to keep the bottom plug. if using it on a vtec block you are correct you need to remove it. also for the new plugs many machine shops just replace those types of things to freshen up the head. you look to be in good shape

thanks man, yeah i will remove it, the plug was removed when i took it there, but they must have noticed a threaded hole missing something so installed that there (the head was purchased used and the PO must have been using it for ls-vtec)
