Strange Engineering FTW

It's the only shock around this price range that has seperate compression and rebound adjustments. It run's a 14" and 12" springs which allows a progressive spring travel. Everyone else seems to have just single. I'd definitely recommend these over any other shock...

Unless you're a baller, get some Penske 8100, Moton, Ohlins and Koni Electric's.

the strange are very nice but can also be complicated -- we have run them for 3+ years now and probably still don't have them setup to be optimal for the car

yes it is nice to have seperate rebound and compression adjustments but if you don't have the time to do all the necessary testing to get them setup the best way for your car then what is the point -- sometimes they feel a little more complicated than needed

best bang for the buck is the omnipower or blox drag coilover setups -- pretty much bolt them on and go -- good price points on them as well

i don't have any first hand experience with progress but they seem to be pretty highly recommended by several people

for anyone using adjustable dampening shocks what are your thoughts on front dampening for both compression and rebound, Ive had a hell of a time with my Penske fronts.

for the people who think they have not "fully optimized" their double adjustables, couldnt you just send your stuff to a place that does shock dyno's ? would this help or not help get what you want out of it ? im assuming they would produce a "dyno graph" for every setting, which may help ??

ive never done this before, but i am curious ?

im also running strange on the front of my car, but havent had enough seat time to make any accurate judements on shock settings.. haha *newb !

Sell them to me! Or trade me for my Strange fronts. Are they the 8100's?
