D15 not running. Help...
The scenario is that my friend was driving his 89 CRX home with a D15 that quit on him. He was driving it about 45mph it lost power hey turned the key, instead of pushing the clutch in to roll start, and went another ¼ mile and then it completely died. My question is that I am picking it up for $200 bucks and it has brand new tires on the 14”, but what would be a reason why this would happen? I know a lot about cars, but not a lot about Honda cars. I’ve been told the obvious, alternator, battery, gas, bad connection w/ the battery… the obvious. BUT a friend told me that it might be the main relay. Whatcha think?
Well as long as it doesnt sound like a midget is under the hood with a hammer its probably not something catastrophic. i would lean more toward distributor related but there's very little to go on at this point. once you get it see if the check engine light is on, and if so figure out what codes it has.
Stop Yelling! and work on your grammar/spelling. it pains me to decrypt your message

What you are referring to is the underdash main fuel relay

right... because you thinking my car is slow pertains in what way to your inability to form an even remotely grammatically correct sentence? With "engrish" like that i'm certain you must be equally as competent at swapping engines too right? next your gonna tell me you have a b18c type r in your straight jdm hatch yo! you've been a member for what 12 minutes? gtfo
