Default automatic to manual conversion

i have a 96 DX hatch, automatic.........some day, probably not too soon, i want to convert my car to a stick...i was just curious what the easiest way to do this will be?? should i just do a swap at the same time, or would it be inexpensive to do it with my stock engine???

The easiest thing to do? Dont mess with hydrauics, just run a cable tranny, they are cheap and plentiful. Next, dont bother doing the conversion until you do the swap, cus then you will have to buy different transmissions, and shift linkages...just do everthing at once. You will need the pedal assembly out of an88-91 civic, or 90-93 integra(to go cable tranny), or a 92-2000 civic or 94-00 integra pedal assembly and all the lines(to go hydro tranny). Of course you will need shift linkages and axles. Its a project thats for sure...
