Default ek9 bogs out when rev'd

so my friend put an intake manifold to support his turbo. he installed everything and then once he turned on the car, the car idle'd fine but when he was gonna rev it, the car would bog out as if something was restricting. im guessing that something is choking it and theres not enough air or fuel going through.
he needs help, and im intrested to what is the problem.
any help or ideas would help. thanks

the tps and map sensor plugs could be backwards. check for vacuum leaks as well.

have you checked your injectors? You could have clogged injectors.
As for vaccum problems, check the PCV Valve.
