Default !!!RED ALERT! HELP, PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT, 1998 CW ITR STOLEN IN CHARLOTTE, NC!!!

Good Morning honda tech fam, and especially the R fam. As stated in the title, my ITR was jacked this morning around 0230am-0400am. Parked right in front of the single car garage driveway (more like a storage), with another car parked one foot behind. These shitbags got in the car without tripping the alarm? No broken glass? Possibly bypassed everything. I've been scoped out big time. They maneuvered the car onto a grassy strip and out the street, still with another car parked directly behind. Didn't hear any noises, not even from the exhaust. I thought i got away from Cali because of this kinda of shitbag act. Please be on the lookout folks. Thanks for hearing me out...

Specs:
-License plate: VXL-5467
-VIN: JH4DC231XWS004819
-Engine Code: B18C5 5360995
-Badge# 98-1192? or98-1129?

-1998 CWR, excellent condition for being a DD. Basically oem everything-even CW wheels were shod in brand spanking new nittos, except for apexi n1 exhaust, dc header, viper alarm(must be a p.o.s. now)

-98,xxx miles, i just completed a full oem tbelt service, new oem bushings and ball joints all around

-Here's where I'm fuct...makita impact tool set, a mac jumpbox, and various snapon/craftsman tools were all in the trunk, and a full tank of gas. DAMN!

Again, Any glimpse/help/notification of its whereabouts are greatly appreciated. Please lock your cars everyone, and also watch your back. Tis the damn season to smack these thieves on their faces and chop their hands off for stealing other people's hard earned property. Peace...

Sincerely,
Jack L.

they probably picked the door lock at the handle, quickly popped the hood and disconnected the battery.

did you have a two way alarm? as a layer everyone should remove their door lock mechanisms and relocate their hood latch cable.

what kind of viper alarm was it? And if you had any additional sensors what did you have?

viper791xv two way , backup battery and siren, shock sensor, hood sensor. i looked at the driveway and there are circular marks carved all over. it was probably jacked and raised at 4 corners, and boom just like that. Could be Butterfly styled tow trucks or scorpion styled repo trucks. no lojack either=(. i didn't hear a damn thing.

You mentioned you just completed some maintenance...did you do the work yourself or was it completed at a shop? If it was a shop, it may have been an inside job.
