Window guard issue
Hi,
I do not know what to call it, when all the windows just go over the weather trim (black rubber on the side) it's like when you close the window and look it from the outside, the glass is outside instead of inside that rubber.
Is there anything I can do to prevent this, like put some grease to make the rubber soft. so it makes it easier for the glass to slide thru?
Thanks

If you remove the door panel and carefully peel back the moisture guard liner, you will be able to see there are adjustments for the window tracking.
However if the regulator itself is worn there may not be enough adjustment.
For lubricating the Window Run Channel silicone is the best option.

It sounds like the window glass has jumped out of the channel guide and has to be reassembled. This isn't an overly intricate job, but does require some manual dexterity, the right tools and some inspection before you start.
Most of it will be reinstallation and realignments, but you should also think of replacing the Window Guide Run* (the felt "U" shaped insert which the glass runs in).
This becomes dirt and crub encrusted and normally can't be cleaned properly.
Using silicone spray isn't abvisable (for the long run) as it attracts and holds the grim & grit that caused this in the first place.
