i've got an '88 civic hatch w/ b16, I/H/E... and i beat my brother's ITR by a few car lengths, plus the fact that he had a jump on me. but, i'm also completely stripped out... so... go find an ITR and line 'em up!

A '88 HF with some weight removed along with a B16 that is running right will beat a stock ITR any day. Two words power:weight.

Exactly,if the CRX is lightened a lot it will get far enough ahead where 4th and 5th gear won't matter.

I'm from Portugal and own a CRX VTEC which is a B16A1 standard with cat and AC. Have many friends with ITRs (>8). Tests are done all Friday and Saturday nights. I belong to this group and NEVER a CRX can or will beat an ITR. Not even in 1st, 2nd and 3rd !!! Not even by the weight. NEVER.
