looking to buy a 95 integra.
I'm looking into buying a 95 integra LS, stock with original B18 with about 130k and minor bolt ons like intake, headers, and decent looking exhaust cant tell brand, it doesn't start and owner tells me its the starter, hes looking into getting 1500, im thinking its a deal but i want to hear other peoples opinion as in if i should or not do it.
yea, interior is clean except that the owner of the car was not using his head and set the car battery inside the passenger side and acid got all over the seat, but i guess its just an excuse to get sum GSR seats.
GSR seats are the same as every other integra besides the leathers, and ITR. Anyways, that is a good deal as long as you are mechanically inclined. If not, it would be more trouble than it's worth taking it to the shop and paying someone to fix it for you.
Try smacking the starter with a hammer, not to hard, but let it know who's boss. This will usually allow you to start it a few more times unless it's already been done a few times. If it starts then it's a pretty good indication you'll need to change the starter.
As for the gsr seats... mrdeadman is right, and coming from someone who had gsr leathers, I don't recommend them. They are okay for driving around town, but if you have to drive more than an hour in them they get uncomfortable quick. Personally I love the ITR recaro's. They are a little expensive, but they are extremely comfortable and have the holes for 5pt. harness if you choose to go that route later on down the road.
And changing the starter is a quick easy job. Good luck

ohh yea i plan on doing the work myself its not problem even if i have to change the motor i can do it no problem, is just that i really don't know how much integras that don't run go for. Now that you guys mention it GSR are uncomfortable after a while cuz i drove in my buddies integra for about and hour trip and i had to pull over and move around. But the seats really are the least of my worries first thing would be to get the car running then go from their, and finish my current project accord coupe and then tackle the integra. Thanks you guys well imma go and take a look at the car again and try to push start it if hitting the starter does not work, and will keep posted if i get the car.
