help with this rattling.
Long story short...
Bought a car about 2 weeks ago.
While I driving, I noticed the rattling sound coming from my steering wheel.
After about 5 mins of looking and searching, I found the steering column area
to be making this rattle. So I crawled down and found this.
As you can see on the picture #1, The gap in between up and bottom
part of column is really wide, hence I looked down and found 3 holes..
3 holes are what I think hold the down brackets to stay on..
When I looked into them, there were only holes, no bolts, no clippers.
so I went to Schucks to ask if they know what kind of holding material
goes in there, however, a guy offered me to buy Repair Manual just to look
at it... so , I turn myself to here HOnda-Tech and now I'm asking gurus.
Any help? Ideas?
This rattling sound is driving me crazy..

Should be the same thread as most of the other bolts in your interior. Take the plastic piece off and try to thread some so find the right size. I wouldn't count on finding anyone who has documented what size the bolts are that hold the steering column cover on.
