How to remove B16?
Hey guys, my brother totaled his 2000 si. He didnt make it out of it, which sucks really bad. But im wanting to build another honda in memory of him, and i need a complete guide on how to remove the motor. Im going to use his motor in an eg or another em1.
So can u guys direct me in a place for some help? Ive got all the tools and help. Also the car was flip, but the motor still runs fine and everything but is there somthing i should change or look at since it was rolled. Thanks

sorry about your brother man. thats hard to deal with trust me i know. depending on how bad the front of the car is it should be pretty easy. i dont know your mechanical skill level but honda motors are easy to take out. take the axles shift linkage and undo the header/cat. take the radiator and a/c condensor out. there are 5 total mounts that hold the motor in. 1 in the very back of the block 1 on the drivers side 1 on the top of the tranny 1 under the A/C compressor and 1 on the front of the tranny. undo all the clips and harnesses off the motor and you should be good.
