my 95 accord tranny is having problems... it started when i first tuned my ecu and plugged it in we went off and test drove it.... when tryna put into 3rd gear it felt like nuttin was there it didnt even go in or nuttin but if i took it out and put it in slowly n it went in just fine. then a week later my first gear and fifth gear were messing up i had to take it out of gear and sowly put it in and now it dosent go in at all i can push forward on the shifter and it feels liek nothing is there. and now when i put it into reverse it stay stuck in gear but the shifter u can go up and down but u cant get it out of gear only when doing it manually thorugh the engine bay same thing happens with 4th gear....

but the good thing my second gear still works goes in and out easily!!!!!!!

sounds like when I broke my shift linkage.... there is this part that's plastic that has to hold the cable straight to push it into gear... every time you push up on the shifter the little plastic piece has to hold the cable straight to push it into gear on the transmission... it's been a little while since I put it on... but if I can remember right... on my car it's right by where you bolt it up to the tranny... in a little rubber boot... if you take that piece off and the plastic is shattered then that's why it wont go into the upper gears...

I thrashed mine when I was speed shiftin into 3rd.

you probably need a new set of shiftl inkage
