from what ive read, since my tach and speedo arent lighting up but everything else is working fine my dimmer switch is out. i dont wanna buy a new one so is there a way to get my gauges to light up without the dimmer? from what i read there is a black, red, and black/red wire; can i just snip off the dimmer and connect the wires together? will that make the gauges light up?
yes ive checked the fuses. ive tried to put in new fuses many times but as soon as i put the fuse it it blows right away. the battery is disconnected and i know how to change a fuse. does that mean i have a short in my wires?
